At the foot of the Pre-Alps, you will be enchanted by the charm and picturesque architecture of the medieval town of Gruyère’s. The town has given its name to the area and to its delicious cheese. Come and explore a little town that’s been unaffected by the passage of time. Visit the impressive medieval castle and delight in the town’s wonderful gastronomy.

Itinerary 

Depart your Hotel in Geneva for Gruyère at 08:30. (Travel time approx. 2 hours)

• Visit the famous Cailler Chocolate Factory with audio commentary. (2 hours)
• Journey to La Maison Du Gruyère for Lunch and shortly afterwards visit the famous Cheese Factory.
• Tour the medieval town of Gruyère with free time.
• Return to Geneva stopping at the famous Lavaux wine terraces for a panoramic view of Lac Leman.
